Fascinating Graphic on "Punks: from Different Decades"

It's well known that some of today's most famous scientists, engineers and space focused entrepreneurs honed their imaginations with a steady childhood diet of science fiction and fantasy.

Even Elon Musk has named SpaceX drone ships after vessels in the Iain Banks' Culture series of science fiction novels.

It's less well known how those stories and images are broadly divided up into different genre's and era's depending on the topics covered and the style of writing used.

One of the more interesting categorizations of those various styles is the January 16th, 2018 post, "Punk Types of Different Decades," on the Imgur website.

This blog has also reposted this graphic on the new Commercial Space Blog Pinterest site, along with over 100 other images of spacecraft schematics, astronomy infographics and other useful charts.

It's just one of the items we'll be upgrading over the next little while in an effort to bolster our social media presence and improve our coverage of the Canadian and international space industry.
